Spurs in Rondon link

Tottenham’s search for a goal scorer may be coming to an end after being heavily linked with Malaga forward Salomon Rondon.

The Venezuela international is quoted in the Sun as saying “it is normal that players would leave” debt ridden Malaga, who are also in danger of being relegated if they are unable to pay the money they owe to players and other clubs, leading to speculation that the forward could soon be following current team mate Santi Cazorla to the Premier League.

Spurs have been forced to reassess their transfer list after talks to bring Emmanuel Adebayor to White Hart Lane stalled and Rondon could represent a cheap alternative as Malaga look to cash in on their star players to raise money.

Rondon scored 11 goals in La Liga last season as Malaga qualified for the Champions League.

  1. I agree. Sign the man. It wouldn't be too shabby if somehow they cough up 20-25 million Pounds for Damaio but that's less likely to happen. Hulk will cost 40 mil so he's also out. Gio Dos Santos may end up being Rescuer-In_Chief (RIC) for Spurs. His multifaceted skilfull game with pace and a calm head in front of goal might see him start over 25+ games this season, and that doesn't include Europa League either. Now, I wonder if there is any further news on Szgoev, maybe Ganso and of course the Roma GK: Stekelenberg? I would love to see 3 or 4 more decent signings for usd before the season begins, because the Gooners seem to have Carzola by now and Sahin may be theirs on season long load with option to buy. We can't think about fighting for 4th or else we may miss and end up 6th, but we must approach it with the mindset of worse place finish 2nd or else the mindset to begin with would be all wrong.
