Spurs in Rondon link

Tottenham’s search for a goal scorer may be coming to an end after being heavily linked with Malaga forward Salomon Rondon.

The Venezuela international is quoted in the Sun as saying “it is normal that players would leave” debt ridden Malaga, who are also in danger of being relegated if they are unable to pay the money they owe to players and other clubs, leading to speculation that the forward could soon be following current team mate Santi Cazorla to the Premier League.

Spurs have been forced to reassess their transfer list after talks to bring Emmanuel Adebayor to White Hart Lane stalled and Rondon could represent a cheap alternative as Malaga look to cash in on their star players to raise money.

Rondon scored 11 goals in La Liga last season as Malaga qualified for the Champions League.
