Tottenham Hotspur have taken the very first step in their Champions League campaign for the new season by naming their full squad.
This comes just months after the Lilywhites played in the prestigious final in Madrid against Liverpool, unfortunately losing 2-0 on the night.
Spurs will now be hoping to recreate Liverpool’s incredible achievement of following up a runners-up medal with the trophy this season.
Amongst a squad list that included Harry Kane, Tanguy Ndombele, Christian Eriksen, and heavyweights like that, it was actually a youngster who caught many Tottenham fans’ eyes.
Pochettino chose to name 17-year-old Troy Parrott in the A-List squad for the upcoming European competition after the Irishman impressed in pre-season.
This comes as, although he is young enough, Parrott has not been at the club long enough to make the B-List.
Some Spurs fans were excited to say the least at the prospect of Pochettino giving the teenager a chance.
