Sean Dyche issues warning to Spurs ahead of Premier League showdown

Tottenham Hotspur have won their last four Premier League fixtures, and added a 3-0 win over German League leaders Borussia Dortmund to their form guide on Wednesday too.

Spurs have been grinding out the results of late in the absence of star striker Harry Kane, midfield man Dele Alli, and a recent lack of left backs.

However, Tottenham may have Harry Kane back in the squad when their next Prem fixture comes around, with the England captain working hard on his early return.

Kane and Alli were both originally given an early March expected return date, but both have undergone warm weather training to pull off potential earlier returns.

With wins against Fulham, Watford, Newcastle and Leicester under their belts in the past few weeks, Spurs will be relishing the next game against Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

Sean Dyche has now warned Spurs that his side will be awkward and difficult to play against, as Spurs looking to chase down league leaders City and Liverpool.

Dyche said (talkSPORT): “We’ve got a tough one next week against Tottenham, who were fantastic last night [in their 3-0 Champions League win over Borussia Dortmund].

“They’re a good team, I like Mauricio Pochettino and everything they do, but in the form we’re in at the moment we’re back to being that really hardy side, and teams find it really awkward and really difficult to play against us.

“So we’ve got to continue that form.”
