Secret Scout singles out Spurs academy player as future star

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of promising young players within their academy ranks at the moment, with Oliver Skipp, Luke Amos, Kazaiah Sterling, and Troy Parrott all given chances of some form this season.

The first three have all appeared in the first team at one point or another, with Troy Parrott having trained and travelled with the senior squad on numerous occasions.

However, the Daily Mail’s Secret Scout has picked out another academy player within the Tottenham ranks as a future star.

The scout attends matches each and every week to spot future talent, and they have singled out Harvey White as one to watch for the future.

The name may ring a bell for some Spurs fans, as White has actually already scored a goal at the new stadium, having tucked away a penalty in the under 18s test event.

The scout claims that he is confident on the ball, plays quickly, and has great ability.

They said: ‘Gathering any pass instantly, he gained that precious second to give him an advantage to play the next ball quickly. He is also sensible enough to play safe when he needs to. Spotting an ascendency gained by his outside left, he fed him regularly with swift early passes from centre field.

‘This actually led to the first goal being scored at the new ground. When confronted by an opponent he had the poise and confidence to turn out and shield the ball. Because of his confidence on the ball and ability to keep it safe, colleagues clearly trust him. They are happy to play it to him even when he is tightly marked.

‘I enjoyed the way that he linked the play as the hub of the team and always looked to take a return after making a pass.’
