Is Sergio Ramos trying to lure Spurs star to Real Madrid?

Tottenham Hotspur have four players in the England squad that plays Spain this week.

The two countries will clash in the UEFA Nations League, with England in desperate need of some points.

So far they have lost one game and drew to Croatia last week, leaving them on just the one point.

Spain have won both of their first two games, as they sit top of the table with six points from six.

Harry Kane has now gone six games without a goal for England, a drought running from the end of the World Cup through to last week.

The striker did however win the golden boot in Russia this summer, scoring six goals at the tournament, two more than any other player.

Apparently Kane’s skills have not gone unnoticed on the world stage, as players from foreign leagues admire from afar.

Tottenham fans will hope and pray that Sergio Ramos continues to admire from afar, rather than from within the Real Madrid dressing room.

The Telegraph report Ramos said the following after being asked which England player would thrive in La Liga: “Let’s start with Harry Kane.

“He’s also physically a fantastic striker but technically he surprises you, he surprises a lot of people, but not me. He is great technically but there are also other great technical players and that’s why they are dangerous. I can assure you we have been studying the videos.

“I’m very impressed by all of them. There are some players from the Premier League who concentrate on the physical side of the game. But there are also very important technical players there.

“Harry Kane – we are going to try and keep his scoring drought as that would be a very good sign for us.”
