Sergio Reguilon provides injury update after being forced off against Norwich

Sergio Reguilon has taken to Instagram to provide an update after he was forced off during Tottenham Hotspur’s win against Norwich City earlier this afternoon.

The Spaniard was named in Antonio Conte’s starting eleven for the visit of Dean Smith’s Canaries and began the Premier League clash with a compression bandage strapped to his upper left leg.

Reguilon lasted just 22 minutes of the match before having to receive attention from the Tottenham medical staff and was replaced by Ryan Sessegnon.

The 24-year-old posted a photo of himself on the social media platform following the 3-0 victory in which he claimed he would be back in action in a few days and suggested that those who play fantasy football should not look to remove him from their team selections.

Reguilon has started life well under Antonio Conte with his pace and desire to get forward suiting the wing-back role which the Italian likes to operate.

Hopefully, he will be back in action in time for the match against Brighton and it remains to be seen whether Thursday’s Europa Conference League tie against Rennes could come too soon.
