‘Seriously under rated player’ – Some Spurs believe Mourinho will turn player into one of the best

Jose Mourinho couldn’t have hoped for a much better start to his career as Tottenham head coach after his side won all of his first three games in charge.

In all three encounters, Tottenham have been aggressive, created loads of chances and have played exciting football. While the defence has still looked shaky on occasions, the forwards have really come to the fore in the three matches.

Several Spurs stars have had a massive upturn in form since the arrival of the Portuguese manager. Dele Alli and Serge Aurier are two players who the 56-year-old has been credited with helping get back to their best by the North London faithful.

One other first-team star who has put in three fantastic displays since the special one’s arrival is Davinson Sanchez.

The Colombian has looked quite imperious at the back in all three games and seems to have cut out the lapses in concentration he has previously been guilty of under Mauricio Pochettino.

Some Spurs fans are quite excited about the 23-year-old defender and believe Mourinho may be the man to help bring the best out of him.

While Sanchez has been excellent in the last three games, he needs to perform at the same level for a consistent period of time in order to prove that he is up there with the best. While his ability to defend one vs one situations and make last-ditch interceptions are second to none, he can still be a liability on occasions due to lapses in concentration. Let’s hope Mourinho helps Sanchez cut that out of his game.
