Sessegnon and three rival PL stars react to Dele Alli overhead kick

Dele Alli produced his best performance of the season this evening as the midfielder scored a brilliant goal and set up two others in Tottenham’s 4-0 win over Wolfsberger.

Jose Mourinho has handed Alli more minutes since the midfielder returned from his injury and he is starting to show some glimpses of his old self.

The 24-year-old certainly did his prospects of getting into Tottenham’s starting line up no harm with his performance today.

While there was a lot to like about Alli’s display, the highlight was undoubtedly his brilliantly taken overhead kick in the first half.

It is not just Spurs fans who were delighted with the improvised finish but also several of Alli’s colleagues.

Leeds striker Patrick Bamford, Aston Villa midfielder Jack Grealish and Alli’s old Tottenham teammate Kyle Walker-Peters praised the Spurs star strike on social media.

Ryan Sessegnon, who is out on-loan at Hoffenheim, also took to Twitter to react to the midfielder’s wondergoal.

Spurs Web Opinion

Alli is not just a popular figure in the Tottenham dressing room but it is clear that he is liked by a lot of his colleagues across the Premier League. Even though the quality of the opposition we were up against was quite poor, the 24-year-old certainly looked like he had a point to prove. Let us hope this is the start of Alli’s revival at Spurs.
