Tottenham Hotspur were active in the transfer window for the first time this summer when they recruited Jack Clarke, Tanguy Ndombele, Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon.
While Clarke was loaned back to Leeds for the season, Spurs fans have seen Ndombele and Lo Celso receive this debuts in North London they are yet to see Sessegnon.
The 19-year-old moved to Spurs on transfer deadline day for an initial transfer fee of £25milion from Fulham (Guardian) but made the move whilst injured.
Sessegnon suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty with England Under-21’s during the summer.
The left-sided player looked to come back in contention ahead of the trip to Leicester last month but reported discomfort with his hamstring which delayed his return (Spurs official).
He has since returned to first team training with Mauricio Pochettino suggesting he could be available for the trip to Anfield (Football.London).
Sessegnon took to Twitter yesterday to express his frustration at his time injured but is now glad to have returned to training with his team mates.
