Seven Spurs players who are about to enter the final year of their contracts

According to Transfermarkt, as many as seven of Tottenham’s first-team stars will enter the final year of their contracts this June.

Daniel Levy and the Tottenham hierarchy have their hands full at the moment, with the club currently without a director of football or a head coach.

Those appointments have to be done swiftly so that the club have sufficient time to plan for the summer transfer window.

One of many concerns that the club would need to address this summer is the fact that several key players are about the enter the final 12 months of their deals.

As per Transfermarkt, Harry Kane, Hugo Lloris, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, Fraser Forster, Ivan Perisic and Brandon Austin are currently contracted to the club until 2024.

That means that Spurs would have to either sell these players this summer or offer new deals to them if they do not want to risk losing them for free.

Spurs Web Opinion

The Harry Kane situation has been well documented while it looks like Eric Dier is set to be offered a new contract.

Sanchez looks certain to leave this summer, particularly after what happened last weekend.

I suspect that Lloris will also be on his way out this summer if Spurs sign another goalkeeper as I cannot see the Frenchman agreeing to be a backup.

I also do not see Ivan Perisic having a future at the club if the next head coach prefers playing a back four.
