Tottenham fans will be concerned at the latest updates from Germany regarding Luka Vuskovic’s injury.
Vuskovic has been one of the best players on show in the Bundesliga this season, even though this is the 19-year-old’s first taste of football in one of the top-five European leagues.
The Croat could be in line to become a regular starter for Tottenham under Roberto De Zerbi next season, but the centre-back’s latest injury will create some concerns at the North London club.
Vuskovic missed Hamburg’s recent defeats to Stuttgart and Werder Bremen due to a knee injury, and it appears that he may not be back anytime soon.

Concern for Tottenham as Luka Vuskovic’s injury is more serious than initially thought
Bild (as relayed by Sport Witness) have now revealed that the centre-back’s injury is ‘much worse’ than initially presumed.
The report claims that Vuskovic’s knee joint is ‘severely damaged’, with the damage being more extensive than Hamburg had initially suspected.
The teenager is expected to miss HSV’s next clash against Hoffenheim on April 25th as well, as he has not returned to training yet.
In fact, it is revealed that the Tottenham defender has not trained with the Hamburg squad since April 7th when he first recieved a knock on his knee.
Vuskovic’s quality is demonstrated by Hamburg’s recent struggles
The defender’s importance to Hamburg has been demonstrated by how the Bundesliga club have fared without the Tottenham man.
While the German side only conceded 13 goals across the last 11 matches Vuskovic has started, they have conceded seven in their last two matches without the youngster.
This is perhaps why some of the biggest clubs in Europe are circling over the Tottenham defender ahead of the summer window.
