‘Shocking’ – Some Spurs fans react to first half display against Olympiacos

Tottenham Hotspur were second best for most of the first 45 minutes against Olympiacos after the visitors found themselves 2-1 up at half time.

Jose Mourinho made only one change to the side that won against West Ham on Saturday with Danny Rose replacing the injured Ben Davies in the starting line up.

While some Spurs fans were pleased to see the Portuguese manager name pretty much an unchanged lineup, things certainly haven’t gone according to plan for Mourinho in the first half.

Olympiacos raced into a two-goal lead early in the game thus leaving Tottenham with a very real chance of being knocked out of the competition.

Tottenham huffed and puffed but fashioned very few chances despite Mourinho bringing Christian Eriksen on for Eric Dier on the half hour mark.

Thankfully for the Lilywhites, Dele Alli pulled a goal back just before half time after some dreadful defending from the greek side.

Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted to the first half performance:

A draw in this match will still be enough for Tottenham to seal qualification to the knockout stages as long as Bayern beat Red Star. That Dele Alli goal towards this end might thus prove extremely crucial in the end. While I believe we are capable of scoring more, I am not so confident that we won’t concede another goal.
