Tottenham Hotspur seem to be missing a certain plan B this season when games are not going their way, something they had in the form of Fernando Llorente last year.
Llorente had the ability to come on and mix things up with his physicality, hold-up play, and aerial presence, which led to a number of big goals for the club.
The Spaniard will certainly go down in the club’s history for his winner against Man City in the Champions League quarter-finals, as the striker somehow deflected the ball home via his hip to take the club into the semis.
Not only this, but he then came on to set up Lucas Moura’s 96th-minute winner against Ajax in the semi-final, something that created history for Tottenham Hotspur.
The club have reminisced about Llorente’s dramatic late winner against Watford in the Premier League today, a result that helped to secure a top-four spot.
Some Spurs fans have reacted to the tweet and it seems there is plenty of love for Nando still…

Spurs Web Opinion:
Spurs are certainly missing the plan B, cross it in the box, last-ditch style player this season. If plan A crumbles, then Spurs crumble with it. I would like to see that addressed in January.
