“Sign some players” – Some Spurs fans give unanimous response to Levy’s message

Tottenham will take on Everton at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium today in their final Premier League match of the season.

However, Tottenham’s season won’t end here as they still have the all-important Champions League final to look forward to on the 1st of June, thanks to their team’s brilliant comeback in Amsterdam on Wednesday.

Ahead of the final home game of the season, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy penned a message to the fans, which was published in the club’s official website.

The Chairman congratulated Pochettino and the players on their achievements this season and implored fans to believe as the club attempts to bring home the Champions League trophy.

However, the response from fans on Twitter was unanimous. They asked their chairman to open his cheque book and invest in the squad this summer after the club failed to add a single player to their squad in the last two windows.

Spurs Web Opinion

We at Spurs Web believe Daniel Levy will loosen his purse strings in the summer as he would know the value of keeping Pochettino happy, and just like the rest of us, he would see that we are on the cusp of something extremely special.

Regardless, the Tottenham chairman deserved huge credit for delivering what is one of the best stadiums in world football, as that has taken Spurs a level higher as a club.
