Simon Jordan has heard that Daniel Levy is not happy with one pundit in particular

Simon Jordan revealed that Daniel Levy is far from happy with some of the claims that Tim Sherwood has made recently.

Sherwood was appointed Tottenham’s technical director in 2012 and was handed the reins on an interim basis in December 2013 after Andre Villas-Boas was sacked.

His six-month spell in charge proved to be extremely underwhelming, with the 54-year-old falling out with the Spurs squad, thus leaving the club little choice but to remove him (ESPN).

Sherwood’s managerial career came to a swift end as he also proved to be a disastrous appointment for Aston Villa, lasting just six months in the job, while his subsequent role as sporting director at Swindon Town also ended badly, with the club being relegated to League Two.

The former Tottenham midfielder has never been short of opinions and made some interesting claims in his recent appearance on Up Front With Simon Jordan.

This included a suggestion that Spurs wanted to sell Kane to Leicester City during his time at the club, with Levy alleged to have hinted that Sherwood should play big-money signings such as Roberto Soldado instead.

Spurs’ Daniel Levy is not happy with Tim Sherwood

Jordan revealed that the Tottenham chairman was not pleased with some of the things that Sherwood said in the interview.

The former Crystal Palace owner told talkSPORT: “I have a view that there are two sides to every equation.

“I did an interview the other day with Tim Sherwood, which I can’t quite make head or tail of because I am not entirely sure Tim was telling the truth a lot of the time.

“It has brought out a reaction in Daniel that he’s not particularly happy with Sherwood and some of his observations, so we will see how that plays out.”

Levy has made several missteps in his time in charge of Spurs and one can argue that the criticism he gets is well deserved.

However, the Tottenham chairman maintains a dignified silence even though some of the attacks levelled against him are completely over the top and misses the bigger picture.

Every single thing that comes out of Sherwood’s mouth seems completely self-serving, which is why I do not take him seriously at all.
