A reliable journalist has named Tottenham as one of the leading contenders to secure the services of Simone Inzaghi, who is yet to commit his future to Inter Milan.
As Daniel Levy contemplates whether to sack Ange Postecoglou, a number of high-profile replacements have allegedly been explored by the Lilywhites, including one of the most highly decorated managers in the Serie A.
It first emerged back in February that Fabio Paratici had urged Levy to appoint Simone Inzaghi as the next Spurs head coach.
This was backed up earlier this month by InterLive, who claimed that Inazghi’s name is ‘getting hotter’ in the race for the Tottenham hotseat.

Journalist confirms Tottenham are ready to pounce on Simone Inzaghi
The Inter Milan boss is currently preparing for a Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain after Napoli pipped his side to the Scudetto in the final game of the season.
However, in the lead-up to the big game, the speculation over Inzaghi’s future shows no signs of slowing down and Inter journalist Fabrizio Biasin has now confirmed that Spurs are one of the clubs circling over the 49-year-old.
When asked about Inzaghi’s future, Biasin told Canale 5, (as relayed by L’Interista): “At the moment he has no agreement with any club. Many suitors, not only in Saudi Arabia, clubs also in Europe. Names? Among others, there is also Tottenham Hotspur.”
Biasin reveals if he expects Inzaghi to leave the San Siro
The Italian journalist explained that the former Lazio boss will hold a discussion with Inter to finalise his future after the Champions League final.
Biasin suggested that his gut feeling is that Inazghi will remain with the Nerazzurri for at least one more season.
When asked how he expects the Inter boss’s future to pan out, he said: “After the Champions League final, he will meet with Inter to find an agreement to continue together. To talk about normal things like contract, market and so on. If they find an agreement, we will move forward together. My feeling is that he will remain the coach of Inter.”
