Sky journalist reveals Harry Kane held talks with Fabio Paratici ahead of announcement

Earlier today Harry Kane revealed that he will be remaining at Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

Sky Sports reporter Paul Gilmour has taken to Twitter to reveal that the 28-year-old held positive talks with Tottenham’s managing director of football, Fabio Paratici before making his announcement over his future.

Paratici was tasked with the responsibility of managing the football side of the club when he joined at the start of last month, following eleven years at Juventus.

Kane had heavily been linked with a move to Manchester City throughout the course of the summer transfer window, with the forward said to believe he had a gentleman’s agreement with chairman Daniel Levy to leave the club (BBC).

Levy has instead rebuffed all approaches from the Premier League champions and remained determined to keep his star player in North London.

The Tottenham fans who made the trip to Wolves on Sunday gave the marksman a warm reception when he came off the bench to replace Heung-min Son in the second half of the 1-0 victory.
