Sky Sports journalist claims Spurs are looking at these four positions in January

Tottenham Hotspur are certainly flying under the new stewardship of Jose Mourinho in the PremierLeague and Champions League.

Jose has only lost one match in the league so far and that came away from home at Old Trafford against his former team, Manchester United.

Spurs have managed to close the gap between themselves and Chelsea in fourth from 12 points to just three in the time that Mourinho has been in charge.

Tottenham will also have the chance to leapfrog the Blues this weekend when they come head to head with them at the new Spurs stadium.

Mourinho also managed to lead Spurs into Champions League knockout qualification, with the club being drawn against RB Leipzig.

However, Jose has not yet been able to make his own mark on the squad by adding some new players of his own, with January providing the first opportunity for that.

Sky Sports journalist Lyall Thomas has now revealed that Spurs are keen on a new right-back and are also looking at centre-backs, left-backs, and backup strikers.

Thomas however, says he would be surprised to see multiple signings in January.
