Sky Sports journalist Michael Bridge has predicted Tottenham could take another look at Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans later in the transfer window.
The Belgium international has entered the final year of his contract with the Foxes which could leave him at risk of a departure from the King Power Stadium (The Athletic).
Tielemans was previously on Spurs’ shortlist of midfield targets for Antonio Conte (GiveMeSport), who recently swooped to acquire Yves Bissouma from Brighton.
The 25-year-old Leicester man is said to be keen on joining their North London rivals Arsenal and although the Gunners have agreed personal terms, no formal offers have been lodged as of yet (Ben Jacobs).
And while the race for Tielemans at present is fairly open, Bridge would not rule out Spurs reigniting their interest further down the line if he is still available on the market.
He told Tottenham Fan Chris Cowlin: “I know that in the past they liked Youri Tielemans and I know there was talk about going to Arsenal, but don’t be surprised if they have another look at him later in the window down the line.”

Tielemans has frequently been linked with Spurs over the years – even before his move to Leicester – and that seems to be the case this summer too.
It does look like Arsenal are in the ascendancy when it comes to completing a move for him, though, but Spurs have plenty of options in midfield already.
