Sky Sports have announced that former Tottenham manager, Mauricio Pochettino will join Jamie Carragher on Monday Night Football as Leeds United take on Leicester City this week.

Pochettino has been without work since leaving Spurs last November and reports indicate that he is being eyed as a potential candidate by both Manchester City and Manchester United (Mirror).

The Sun’s Dave Kidd suggested earlier this month that the Argentine is not in a hurry to jump back into management and is waiting for the right opportunity to open up in the Premier League.

The 48-year-old has now seemingly decided to spend some of his free time by doing a little bit of punditry work.

Sky Sports revealed that the former Tottenham boss will be joining Jamie Carragher and host, Dave Jones in the studio to give insight into Marcelo Bielsa’s methods, having played under him as a teenager at Newells Old Boys and then later at Espanyol and for Argentina.

The report also revealed that the show will delve into some tactical analysis of Pochettino’s time in North London, which could make for some fascinating viewing for Spurs fans.
