SkySports pundit predicts Spurs vs PSV

Tottenham Hotspur take on PSV Eindhoven tonight in a must-win Champions League clash.

Both teams have only managed to accumulate one point from their opening three fixtures in this season’s top European competition.

Spurs led both Inter Milan and PSV late on in the matches and pushed Barcelona close, but still see themselves joint bottom on the group.

Realistically Pochettino’s men need three wins from three to give them any chance of qualification from the group.

This starts with a win at Wembley against PSV tomorrow, before another home tie against Inter Milan, followed by a daunting trip to the Camp Nou.

Even if Spurs pick up nine points from these three games, they will still rely on Inter Milan dropping points for a chance to progress into the knockouts.

SkySports pundit Charlie Nicholas has predicted a Tottenham 3-0 win at Wembley tomorrow night as the two sides kick off under the floodlights at 8pm.

He said: “It’s last chance saloon time for Spurs and even a win may not be enough but it will at least give them hope as they look at the Inter Milan v Barcelona game. Defensively they don’t look as strong but I don’t see too many difficulties for them at home, with hopefully the Wembley pitch in a much better condition so I feel it will be a comfortable night for them. They’re back scoring goals again and although they blew a lead in this competition I think they’ll win this comfortably.”
