In an interview with The Sun, former Tottenham captain Ledley King has sung the praises of Dejan Kulusevski and expects Spurs to sign him permanently this summer.
The Swedish international has instantly adapted to the demands of the Premier League and has quickly become an important part of Antonio Conte’s side.
With three goals and eight assists in his first 19 games for the Lilywhites (Transfermarkt), Kulusevski has already endeared himself to the Spurs faithful.
King, a one-club man with Spurs, admitted that although he did not know a great deal about the former-Juventus winger before he made the switch to N17, he has been impressed at the level of performances he has shown (The Sun).
Asked whether Spurs will make a permanent move for Kulusevski, King said: “You would think so. He has been a great fit for the club.
“He came in, and to tell the truth I didn’t know too much about him, but he seemed to fit in straight away with the pace and the physicality.
“Both him and [Rodrigo] Bentancur have come in and adapted well. They’re the right players for the Premier League.”

King believes that at just 22 and 24, Kulusevski and Bentancur have the potential to be fixtures in the Spurs side for many years to come.
He added: “Fair play to the people who brought them into the club and recognised their fit.
“They’ve been so impressive. They came straight into the team and that doesn’t happen often for players who come in January.
