Some Arsenal fans react to their side bottling the top four

Tottenham Hotspur have been gifted a spot in the Champions League next season, well, sort of.

Spurs must simply avoid an eight-goal swing with Arsenal on the final day of the season, as the Gunners now sit three points behind their rivals.

Tottenham started off the weekend by losing the early Saturday kick-off to Bournemouth, despite controlling the early exchanges and missing clear chances through Dele Alli and Lucas Moura.

Heung Min Son was then sent off for lashing out against a Bournemouth player, before Juan Foyth picked up another red the other side of half time for a nasty studs-up challenge.

The chasing pack simply had to pick up wins of their own today to take it down to the final day of the season.

Chelsea did just that, beating Watford to leapfrog Spurs into third. However, Man United and Arsenal both drew 1-1 to Huddersfield and Brighton respectively.

This ruled the Red Devils out of the top four race, and left Arsenal needing to make up eight goal difference points on Spurs in just one match.

Some Arsenal fans took to Twitter to react to the draw:
