Tottenham Hotspur, who have already secured the signings of Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele and Leeds United winger Jack Clarke (BBC), are expected to do more business this summer.

Among the players linked with a move to Spurs are Fulham pair Ryan Sessegnon and Steven Sessegnon (Football Insider). The twin brothers both prefer to play at full back with Steven usually lining up on the right-hand side of the defence, while Ryan can play both at left back and left wing.

With reports indicating that Tottenham are seeking reinforcements in both full back positions (Football.London), it looks like there could be some legs to this rumour.

Steven Sessegnon’s recent Twitter activity has now got Spurs fans even more excited as the player ‘liked’ two posts related to Tottenham.

According to Football.London, Spurs fans picked up on the fact that the 19-year-old has ‘liked’ tweets about both Spurs signing Jack Clarke and loaning him back to Leeds United as well as another about their club record signing Tanguy Ndombele.

This has gotten some fans believing that a move for Sessegnon is imminent.

Of course, this could just mean that Sessegnon knows Clarke personally and that he is a fan of Ndombele. However, the fact that he suddenly ‘liked’ these tweets amid reports linking him with a move to Spurs seems like a good sign.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Firstly there is no such word in the English language as ‘gotten’. Secondly, the biggest influence in any move by the Sessegnons is location. They want to stay in London and that’s an obstacle that Liverpool won’t be able to overcome. That and Dan Levy of course.
