Some fans are angry at how Pochettino handled Ryan Sessegnon’s debut today

Tottenham Hotspur have dropped another two points on the road today after Everton scored late into added time to rescue a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park.

Perhaps the one shining light for Spurs fans was a chance to see their new signing, Ryan Sessegnon, in action during the match on Merseyside.

However, the teenager was only given a handful of seconds to make an impression, with Pochettino subbing him on after 112 minutes. Yes, you read that correctly.

After a horror injury to Andre Gomes, a red card for Heung Min Son, and a few lengthy VAR calls, the referee added 12 minutes on at the end of the match.

Rayn Sessegnon, who joined from Fulham in the summer, had not appeared in a Spurs shirt until today after recovering from an injury of his own.

Many Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to state that the youngster should have been introduced far earlier, with the out-of-form Christian Eriksen making way.
