2020 has been a roller coaster ride for Tottenham Hotspur, with the team enjoying some very good form as well as experiencing some frustrating spells.
Tottenham could not manage to end the year with a win as their clash against Fulham on Wednesday was postponed due to several positive COVID tests in the West London outfit’s camp.
With the game on Wednesday not going ahead, Spurs TV’s N17 Live took the opportunity to recap the calendar year.
They also asked fans to pick their Player of the Year for 2020, not an easy task given that a number of Tottenham stars were excellent last year.
Understandably, many fans picked Harry Kane or Son Heung-min, with both players arguably in the form of their lives at the moment.
While some could not choose between the pair, there were also others who suggested the likes of Hugo Lloris and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg as possible candidates for the accolade.
Son. What more can I say. His tireless running on and off the ball. And that goal he scored against Burnley. That says it all. pic.twitter.com/mcve7D4Tre

Imo has to be Sonny, I mean without him we probably wouldn’t be playing even uel this season, he carried on the team by himself and his goals while Harry was out last season and what can I say about this one, he has been excepcional, so clinical and decisive.

Not sure how you can choose but would perhaps go for Højbjerg as he has transformed our midfield. Son & Kane have got even better. Hugo has been amazing. Dier, Toby, Lo Celso all really solid.

Spurs Web Opinion
Son has had an extraordinary 12 months while the likes of Lloris and Dier deserve a mention as well. However, there can only be one winner and that is Harry Kane. The striker was injured for the first three months of the year but was simply unplayable after the restart. He has had a brilliant start to this season and looks on course to have the best campaign of his career statistically.
