Some QPR fans have reacted angrily to the performance of Luke Amos in the side’s 2-0 defeat away at Huddersfield on Saturday.
Amos who is on a season-long loan at the Championship side from Spurs, started in central midfield when Mark Warburton’s side travelled to the John Smith’s Stadium last weekend.
The Spurs midfielder had a poor game and was eventually taken off in the 67th minute with QPR already 2-0 down at the time.
The result meant that QPR have now suffered a fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions.
Another Spurs loanee Jack Clarke, who signed for QPR club last month, also come on with a little over twenty minutes to go but failed to make much of an impact.
There were some big expectations of Amos when he joined QPR back in the summer only for the 22-year-old to show he has some work ahead of him to play at a consistent standard every week.
Here’s how some fans reacted to the midfielder’s performance against Huddersfield:
I really don't see what Kane, Amos, Pugh and Clarke bring to the table!

Amos been poor today, and recently imo #QPR

Eze’s in the mood today, Huddersfield players can’t get near him. Must’ve of completed 10+ take ons in that half alone. Apart from the suicidal first 2 minutes, it’s been a decent half. Ball being the stand out player overall. Thought Chair and Amos have been a little off though.

Good review Clive. I personally had issue with Kane and Amos. Amos looks like he’s got an eye on going back to spurs and didn’t put a shift in. Kane’s ability to give the ball away is becoming a real problem. He likes to “maraud” forward, but ball at feet and pick a pass…poor.

Why do we get jokers on loan like Amos smith mlarka and clarke , and teams in similar postitions to us get ballers like smith rowe and Gallagher

Why can’t we just play manning cm and send back amos he absoloutly useless

What does Ryan Manning have to do. Amos and Pugh are brutal.

Spurs Web Opinion
I rated Amos highly and believed until a couple of years ago that he had a shot of eventually breaking into the first team. However, his progress has stagnated in the last two years and he hardly seems to be setting the Championship alight this campaign. Perhaps the club will include him in a deal for Eberechi Eze in the summer.
