Tottenham Hotspur now have just over a day left to finalise any last-minute transfer dealings in the January window before it slams shut.
One deal that looks as if it has the legs to get over the line is Danny Rose to Newcastle United this month, after the player has fallen out of favour in North London.
It was reported that Rose had a training ground bust-up with Jose Mourinho after he was dropped from a recent match, and the left-back has not been seen in a squad since (Sun).
Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie has now reported that Rose is at the Newcastle United training ground to finalise a loan move from Spurs this month.
Newcastle are said to be paying £2m for the six-month loan, but will have no obligation to buy the player at the end of this spell. Rose is expected to have his medical today.
Some fans took to Twitter to react:
He doesn’t even want to play football, just seeing his contract out ?

Don’t worry, he’ll be moaning about it (along with other things most likely) soon enough!

If he hasn’t got a hamstring injury already he will have by 5.00pm Saturday no doubt.
