Tottenham Hotspur had a number of talented academy starlets and graduates on show against Juventus yesterday, all the way from Harry Kane and Harry Winks to fresh faces such as Jack Roles, Japhet Tanganga, and Troy Parrott.
Luke Amos would assumedly have joined those names on the pre-season tour of Asia if he had remained at the club this summer, but Spurs decided to loan him out to QPR for the 2019/20 season (QPR). This comes after a 9-month injury layoff for the central midfielder (Tottenham)
Amos was given first-team chances at the start of last campaign after impressing during pre-season, but his year was cut short through injury (Sky Sports).
However, the academy graduate is now scoring freely for his loan club QPR, even bagging two headers in one match against Oxford last week.
Now at 22-years-old, this could be the last chance that Amos gets to impress Pochettino and earn a first-team spot at Tottenham.
Amos spent the 2017/18 season on loan to Stevenage, making 16 appearances and scoring two goals.
He will be hoping that an injury-free and impressive run in the QPR first-team will be enough to catch the eye of his Argentine manager and follow in the footsteps of Harry Winks into the starting line-up.
Some Spurs and QPR fans reacted to his brace:

Calling it now, Amos’s will be a class player. Wether his future lies at Tottenham or a club like QPR (in which I actually think he’s too good for)
Class combination of attacking ability and defensive side too. https://t.co/t1B2LMnzYi

Refreshing listening in on @QPR’s interview with Luke Amos. A humble, down-to-earth lad with bags of talent #QPR
