Tottenham Hotspur faced a tough trip to Goodison Park tonight, but came away with all three points and six goals under their belt.
After going 1-0 down early on, braces from Son and Kane, as well as goals from Dele and Eriksen sent Spurs fans into a very merry Christmas.
It is difficult to pick out any sour notes in this game, but unfortunately the in form Dele Alli was withdrawn at half time, likely due to an injury picked up in an altercation with Pickford.
Dele was played through on goal late in the first half, with the offside flag going up almost instantly.
However, Alli and Pickford appeared not to hear the whistled, with the latter clattering in with a nasty looking challenge on his England team mate.
Although Pickford’s studs didn’t make much contact, Dele’s leg did seem to can wedged between man and ground for a split second.
Some fans reacted on twitter to this challenge:
This is absolutely disgraceful from Jordan Pickford. pic.twitter.com/0DujsyniJs

Incredible that Pickford wasn’t booked or sent off for that disgraceful challenge.

That’s good as fortunately we don’t have a big run of games coming up and an excellent squad depth
