Some fans react to Tottenham-Mitrovic links

Tottenham Hotspur became the first Premier League club ever to not make a single new signing in the summer transfer window this campaign, later extending their record to the January window too.

However, it may not have been down to a lack of trying, as reports have emerged claiming Tottenham made a January move for Fulham’s attacking brute Alexsandar Mitrovic (TeamTalk).

The report claims that Spurs had an approach rejected by the fellow London club on deadline day last month.

Tottenham were said to have been prepared to reimburse the £27m that Fulham paid for the striker, but this seems a bit unrealistic for a Premier League club’s lead striker.

The speculation may not be over however, as a summer move is said to not be out of the question if Fulham are relegated from the Prem, which looks likely.

Should Tottenham be going for Mitrovic? Would he be a perfect Kane backup?
