Some Spurs fans are desperate to see Tanguy Ndombele start the clash against Sheffield United this evening and have bombarded a post form the club with comments begging for the midfielder to be handed a start.
Ndombele has not played a single minute since the Premier League restart, with the Frenchman being an unused substitute both against Manchester United and West Ham.
There have been reports indicating that the midfielder has fallen out with Jose Mourinho, although the Spurs boss rubbished those claims in the press conference on Wednesday (Football.London).
In fact, Mourinho even asserted that the 23-year-old will be involved against Sheffield United, which got some Spurs fans excited.
Today marks a year since Ndombele left Lyon to head to Tottenham for a club-record transfer fee, with the North London side deciding to take to Twitter to mark the anniversary.
Predictably the comments section was filled with fans asking for the midfielder to be handed a start.
Meanwhile, on the back of Mourinho’s revelation in the pre-match press conference, some Tottenham fans are confident that the former Lyon man will be involved at Bramall Lane.

Why not mark the occasion with a little playing time? A place in the starting XI, perhaps?

Spurs Web Opinion
I doubt Jose would have said what he did in the press conference if he did not plan on using Ndombele against Sheffield United. However, I do not expect the Frenchman to start. I expect him to come on as a second-half substitute for potentially a 20 to 30-minute cameo.
