It is officially only eight days until the Champions League Final, with Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool set to fight it out in an all-Premier-League affair.
Both teams have already experienced incredible moments in this season’s competition, the most memorable of which both came in the semi-finals.
Liverpool overturned a 3-0 first-leg defeat to Barcelona by smashing them 4-0 at Anfield, while Spurs overcame a 3-0 aggregate deficit in just 45 minutes in Amsterdam, courtesy of a second-half hat-trick from Lucas Moura.
For some fans, this will be the longest eight days of their lives, while for others, the time will nervously fly by.
Tottenham have failed to win a trophy in well over a decade, but a Champions League would well and truly be worth the wait. This would also be Mauricio Pochettino’s first piece of major silverware as a manager.
It appears that some fans are already suffering from nervous excitement as they reacted to Tottenham’s Twitter post today.
Wait what. Lads its going to fast, STOP.
