Some Spurs fans believe the Tottenham twitter account aimed dig at Arsenal’s form

Tottenham Hotspur have been in fantastic form of late, ever since they opened their brand new 62,000 plus seat stadium.

Spurs have now played four games at the new ground, winning all four, scoring eight in the process, and not conceding a single goal.

Tottenham beat Crystal Palace, Huddersfield, Man City, and Brighton at the new stadium this month.

However, Spurs did leave it very late to maintain their 100% record against Brighton on Tuesday, as it took an 88th minute Eriksen winner to seal all three points.

This was vital in the race for the top four, as Arsenal and Manchester United both lost two games in the past week, and Chelsea also dropped points at home to Burnley.

Despite having 70% possession, Arsenal were only able to manage 11 shots at goal, and one on target in their 3-1 defeat away to Wolves.

Some Spurs fans believe that their club aimed a cheeky dig at their North London rivals when they tweeted just 20 minutes after Arsenal’s loss.

Spurs Web Opinion:

We at Spurs Web believe that Tottenham have third place in the Premier League nailed down now. Tottenham are picking up the results, and can probably afford to drop points in one of their remaining two games and still finish in the top three. Arsenal, Man United, and Chelsea all look as if they will drop more points themselves, so fingers crossed it should be a relatively comfortable end to the Premier League season for Spurs. Focus now goes onto the Champions League.
