Tottenham Hotspur manager, Mauricio Pochettino, has come under fire from a number of Spurs fans this week for his treatment of Lucas Moura over the past year.
The Brazilian has played only a bit-part role this season for Spurs, playing 13 matches, scoring two, and assisting one (Transfer Markt).
However, Lucas has only played 90 minutes on four occasions all season, with one coming against Colchester United in the Carabao Cup.
Moura was given just five minutes against Crystal Palace, four against Leicester, 17 against Brighton, and six against Liverpool. Spurs needed a late goal in all but one of these games.
Most recently, as Spurs were being held to a draw at home to newly-promoted Sheffield United, Moura was given just four minutes of normal time to try to score a winner.
After Moura was the hero in Amsterdam with his Champions League hat-trick earlier this year, and after signing a new contract, it seems strange that Poch is leaving him out.
