Lo Celso has been out of action for more than two months after picking up a hamstring in the 2-0 home defeat to Leicester City in December.
Tottenham’s form has been extremely poor during that time and Jose Mourinho will be hoping that the Argentine returns to action soon and provides an additional creative spark to the side.
Mourinho revealed last week that Lo Celso was not close to returning but Ndombele posted a picture of the 24-year-old outdoors, holding a ball and dressing in full training gear, along with the caption, ‘El Crackito’.
Some Spurs fans are optimistic that the former Real Betis man is not far off being fully fit and believe that his return can prove to be a big boost to the side.

So shameless from Ndom but I can’t put into words how nice it will be when Gio takes back the Lamela/Lucas/Dele role https://t.co/RInpZkvgs1

Lo Celso back in training😍

Bale in a free role10 with Lo Celso playing RM/W might be the way forward for the rest of the season. Bale is picking up form and fitness at the perfect time and Gio coming back is a massive bonus. We would still have these options from the bench, Bergwijn/Dele/Lucas/Sissoko….

Lo Celso back in training 😍 we’ve missed his link up play, the sooner he’s back in the squad the better. #COYS

We need LoCelso back to the first team. When i see comparisons between GLC & Bruno on my TL i just think its unfair. Everyone's destiny is different. He aint much of a goalscoring CM but he's effective. Hopefully nxt yr we'll have better players to complement his talent.#THFC

Everyone said Lo celso is useless, he gets injured and people finally understand his value, he’ll come back and make a mistake and he’ll be considering shit again. That’s our fanbase for you.

Spurs Web Opinion
With Ndombele now having adapted to playing in a deeper role, we could finally see the midfield three of Lo Celso, Ndombele and Hojbjerg that some Spurs fans have been calling for since the start of the season. Hopefully, the Argentine regains the form he showed last season.
