Some Spurs fans react as club replace’ wheel of doom’ with new ticketing queue system

Tottenham Hotspur are famed for many things, from their fast and fluid play, to their promotion of young academy players, and their iconic stars like Harry Kane and Heung Min Son.

However, within the Spurs fanbase, Tottenham are also known for another thing: The Wheel of Doom.

Getting football tickets can be hard even on the best of days, but acquiring a ticket at the old White Hart Lane or during Spurs’ time at Wembley was nothing short of soul-destroying.

Upon loading up the ticketing site, along with thousands of other fans, you would be greeted by a blue and grey wheel that tracked how far along in the queue you were.

I remember sitting and watching this wheel of doom for five hours once, just to get a Champions League ticket bundle.

However, it seems that Spurs have now updated their system with a clear progress tracker and even an expected time feature to show when you will be granted access.
