Tottenham Hotspur are not in the greatest place at the moment, off the back of five dropped Premier League points and claims of an unsettled squad by manager Mauricio Pochettino (Sky Sports).
Spurs are going to need to find a way to escape the funk if they are to kickstart their 2019/20 season before it’s already over.
The perfect way to do this would be a win over their arch-rivals Arsenal in the first North London derby of the season at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon.
Pochettino is likely to line up with Toby Alderweireld in the heart of the defence again, as he has in every match so far this season.
This comes after the Belgian defender was rumoured to be on the way out in the summer, with Spurs and Roma having said to have held talks (Sky Sports).
However, there seems to have been a change of heart in the last week as Alderweireld is now said to be close to agreeing a new contract at Spurs (Football Insider).
