Some Spurs fans react as promising academy graduate heads out on loan

Tottenham Hotspur academy graduate, Luke Amos, has been sent out on loan to Championship side Queens Park Rangers for the duration of the 2019/20 season (Tottenham).

This comes after the 22-year-old midfielder made his debut for the club at the start of last season, coming on as a late sub against Newcastle.

Amos had impressed during Tottenham’s 2018 pre-season tour and was subsequently used sporadically by manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Poch likes to bring through at least one academy starlet each season and it looked as if Amos could be one of the chosen ones until he suffered a season-ending ACL injury.

Amos has not been seen in a Spurs shirt since, but this loan move could be the perfect chance for him to show Pochettino what he can do across an entire season.

If he is to break his way into the first team set up, he will have to prove his worth against the likes of Harry Winks, Victor Wanyama, Moussa Sissoko, Eric Dier, Dele Alli, Christian Eriksen and more.
