Some Spurs fans react as reports claim Levy wants new Heung-min Son contract

There are few players on the planet in better goalscoring form that Tottenham’s Heung-min Son at the moment, with the South Korean having bagged seven Premier League goals this season already.

Now that both the European and domestic transfer windows have slammed shut, it has been reported that Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy is set to turn his attentions towards new contracts.

The Telegraph have claimed that a bumper new deal for Heung-min Son could be at the top of the agenda for Levy this season.

Son last penned an extension with the Lilywhites back in 2018 and his current contract keeps him in North London until 2023.

However, Levy is said to want Son to sign on the dotted line before the end of the current campaign to ensure that Spurs’ prized asset is secured.

The report adds that Son could be in for a big pay rise and there are no fears within Tottenham that his long-term future is in jeopardy.
