Some Spurs fans on social media cannot seem to agree on whether or not they would take Christian Eriksen back at the club.
Eriksen has endured a difficult twelve months at Inter Milan since leaving Tottenham back in January of last year, struggling to get a consistent run of games under his belt.
Inter CEO, Guisseppe Marotta has admitted that the Serie A side could look to move the midfielder on during the course of the month.
Eriksen has been linked with Tottenham’s North London rivals, Arsenal as well as a reunion with Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain (CalcioMercato).
However, there have also been suggestions that the 28-year-old’s preference remains a return to Spurs.
While some Spurs fans admitted that they would welcome the Dane back with open arms since the side lacks a creative midfielder of his profile, others insisted that it would be a terrible move considering how poor Eriksen has been over the last 18 months.
Why did people want him now after the way he acted for over a year? The mind boggles

He’s not the same player anymore. People need to get that in their heads. It’ll be the same case as Bale. We all thought we’d be getting the Gareth Bale from 2016 but instead got a guy that hasn’t played properly for the last 2 years. Same goes with Eriksen.

These man voting ‘yes’ remind me of the dons that beg for their ex back, even after she’s stated on numerous occasions that she doesn’t feel the same and just want’s a change. How many times does the man have to say he wants a change in scenery for you lot to understand? LOL

The lad bottled it in the UCL final –he was completely invisible.
When his move to Milan didn’t materialise he sulked, pouted & stopped making any attempt to win a challenge or a header.
His free kicks & corners don’t beat the 1st man.
Why would anyone want him back? 🤷🏻♂️

Think people are getting confused
This is 2021 Eriksen
He should be nowhere near this club, he downed tools for his last 18 months and cannot recapture his form in a far inferior league. If it was 2013-17 Eriksen then it’s a no brainer but he’s finished at this level

A motivated Eriksen would be a great re-addition to the squad.
Lo Celso is struggling with injuries, and Tanguy can’t play a full 90 – certainly not twice a week.
Eriksen will want to prove himself again, and he was most creative AM in the Prem for years— It all seems a bit trivial now (@MattyFrench82) January 4, 2021
I don’t get why people don’t seriously dele has never been the same since nobody could pass the ball properly you lot think Harry Kane enjoys being the playmaker u don’t think he would want someone setting him up erisken allows a killer pass that ndombele and lo celso isn’t doing

He’d want to prove something no brainer especially with our midfield struggling to net.

I’ve changed my mind on this over the last few weeks. Hojbjerg would make a great motivator for Eriksen I think, in the same way that having a Challenger 2 tank up your jacksie can be a great incentive not to slacken one’s pace 😆

If he’s cheap and came back on lower wages why not. He’d be wanting to prove himself after these last two years. Unless there’s another younger long pass and long shot taker out there then no. We never replaced him or the numbers he brought every season

Spurs Web Opinion
I do not see Eriksen being a good fit for our current system. Ndombele’s physicality and athleticism (despite his lack of stamina) makes him a good option for the number 8/10 role at present. I believe that Eriksen would not provide anywhere near enough out of possession for Mourinho to consider taking him back.
