Some Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to voice their excitement at the news that Dane Scarlett has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season in North London, making his European and Premier League debuts under Jose Mourinho.
The youngster was first seen against Ludogorets Razgrad in the Europa League back in November 2020 before making his second appearance in the competition against Wolfsberger AC (TransferMarkt).
The second time around, Scarlett even managed to record an assist for Carlos Vinicius late on. Mourinho also handed him a very short cameo against West Brom in the league early this year.
Tottenham announced this afternoon that Dane Scarlett had signed a pre-contract agreement with the club, triggered by his 17th birthday earlier this month.
The academy graduate put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him in North London until 2023, his first professional contract with Spurs.
