Mauricio Pochettino is never one to throw a player straight into the starting XI when signing them in a transfer window.
Tanguy Ndombele had a whole pre-season with the Lilywhites, which is why he has been used heavily in the first two games of the Prem season.
However, if you look back at Lucas Moura, Pochettino used him as a cameo substitute for half a season before giving him a real chance in the last campaign.
The case of Giovani Lo Celso is a rather interesting one due to circumstances at the club at this moment in time.
Pochettino decided to hand him his first appearance off the bench against Man City in order to help close the game out, which I was surprised at.
Perhaps the Argentine manager has one eye on a potential Eriksen exit and wants Lo Celso to be prepared as a potential direct replacement.
Either way, fans were certainly excited to see him involved:

Have something to tell us about this article?
Right….now who will rhwt have to replace Toby, Jan & Danny…..This club is working themselves into a cup de sac that I worry may be too difficult to get out of.
I actually don’t remember him having a hug impact on the game, and to be honest we kind of clung on and got lucky!
Walker-Peters out of position for their first goal and Vert. too slow for their second.
