Some Spurs fans react to Harry Winks passing graphic against Crystal Palace

Some Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react to Harry Winks’ passing map against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Spurs came into the match having boasted a 100 per cent win and clean sheet record in the opening three games, something that had propelled them to the top of the league.

These victories had all featured a midfield trio of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Oliver Skipp, and Dele Alli, however, the latter was pushed into attack and Harry Winks came in against Palace.

Unfortunately, it was a day to forget for both Tottenham and Winks, as the Lilywhites fell to a rather flat 3-0 defeat against their London rivals.

The Times subsequently put together a passing map to compare the 90 minutes played by Palace’s Connor Gallagher and the 60 played by Winks.

It certainly makes poor viewing for the Spurs academy graduate, who rarely successfully passed the ball towards the Crystal Palace goal.

Let’s take a look at how some Spurs fans reacted:

Spurs Web Opinion:

Harry Winks has been going through a pattern over the last year or two. Being out of favour, his chances are sometimes few and far between but, when given, he has failed to take them with both hands. I fear for his Premier League minutes this season.
