Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to strengthen their midfield this summer, which can only be positive for the club. Spurs have reportedly agreed a £65m fee with Lyon over Tanguy Ndombele, for example (Sky Sports).
However, what this will do is push some of the fringe players and academy graduates further down the pecking order.
Luke Amos was one of the stars of Tottenham’s pre-season last year under Pochettino, taking this impressive form into the professional season.
However, a nasty injury to his anterior cruciate ligament kept him out for the majority of the season, cutting any progress short.
The 22-year-old is now back, but Spurs are reportedly ready to send him out on loan, with QPR ready to take him on for a full season (Football London).
While Amos would likely be a part of Poch’s plans if not for his injury, a loan spell in order to build up his minutes may be the best move for all involved.
Here’s how some Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter:
Good move for him, us, and them. Good luck Luke

Great move! Luke had awful injury luck in a season where he could’ve had some first team chances. Amazing opportunity for him to make a name for himself at a top club. Good luck Luke
