Tottenham Hotspur announced today that Brazilian winger Lucas Moura is out for the crucial semi-final first leg against Chelsea tomorrow night.
Spurs are set to take on the Blues at Wembley at 8pm as they look to secure a spot in the first final of the season.
Lucas Moura is said to have picked up a knee injury in the 7-0 thrashing of Tranmere in the FA Cup on Friday.
Spurs say they will assess the forward ahead of the Premier League match against Man United on Sunday.
Moura will surely be eager to return for this game, after scoring an amazing brace against the Red Devils at Old Trafford earlier in the season.
However, it is unclear whether he will be back in time, and Lucas’ injury could not have come at a worse spot for Spurs, as they are preparing to part ways with in form Heung Min Son this month.

Really getting silly now! Is there a team that’s had injuries like us nearly all the squad have this season! Kin hell

Lucas will be Sonny’s replacement after the United match, better hope his injury isn’t too bad. There’s Lamela too but he can’t play back to back matches. Signings needed?

He played on with that injury but I suspect they’re being extra careful with him as Sonny is about to go away again. Big boots to fill, early season form required from Lucas!
