Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly finally agreed a fee with Lyon for the transfer of Tanguy Ndombele this summer.
L’Equipe claims that Spurs will pay an upfront cost of €62m for the midfielder, with €10 in add-ons to be paid at a later date.
If true, Ndombele would become Tottenham’s most expensive signing in the club’s history.
This comes after Tottenham sold their first team central midfielder, Mousa Dembele, back in January when he joined the Chinese Super League.
Ndombele is still yet to agree to personal terms with Spurs, but this is apparently not seen as a potential stumbling block (L’Equipe), with the player having already been given a tour of the club’s training facilities (Sun).
The 22-year-old impressed on both the domestic and European stage last season, particularly in matches against the likes of Man City and Barcelona in the Champions League.
