Some Tottenham fans on social media are desperately hoping that Daniel Levy does not appoint Nuno Espirito Santo after Wolves announced today that the Portuguese coach will be leaving the club after Sunday’s game.
In the four years that Nuno has spent at the Molineux Stadium, he has not only helped the club to win promotion to the top-flight but also establish themselves as a Premier League side.
However, after two back-to-back seventh places finish in their first two seasons in the top division, Wolves have struggled to maintain the same standards this season.
Some reports have indicated that Nuno has many admirers among the Tottenham hierarchy but it was suggested that he was unlikely to leave Wolves.
With the West Midlands club confirming that the 47-year-old will depart after Sunday, some Spurs fans on social media are adamant that the North Londoners should not appoint him as Jose Mourinho’s replacement.
