Tottenham Hotspur have parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino after over five years in charge of the North London club.
Pochettino led the Lilywhites to their first-ever Champions League Final earlier this year, losing out to Liverpool in Madrid.
Ever since then, the club has been in freefall in terms of results, despite breaking their transfer record on Tanguy Ndombele in the summer.
Spurs are 14th in the Premier League at the moment, with just three wins and 14 points. That puts them closer to the relegation zone than the Champions League places.
Tottenham were also demolished 7-2 in the Champions League by Bayern Munich, as well as being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Colchester United.
Daniel Levy claimed that the club were reluctant in making the managerial change, but the disappointing results across 2019 have been too much to ignore.
Tottenham have yet to appoint a replacement for Pochettino.
Some Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter:

Well done Levy. Back to mediocrity. Pochettino took a team on a limited budget to regular top 4 and a Champions League final. Hope he gets a club who back him and allow him to complete what he starts. Thanks for the good times. #THFC #COYS pic.twitter.com/v18sAE9WFK

I hope all the moaners about Poch are happy now ? Just watch him go to Real Madrid or Man U and become a success ? No matter who comes in Levy will not spend enough money to take Spurs to the next level ? Under Levy we will always be a selling club ? good luck Poch ??
