Liverpool overcame Crystal Palace 4-3 today to go 7 points clear at the top of the table with Manchester City due to play tomorrow against Huddersfield Town.

Salah was once again the star of the show scoring a brace, with a goal in each half.

However, there was one unsavory moment where the Egyptian seemed to go to the ground too easily when contesting the ball with Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho.

This is hardly the first time Salah has attempted to win his side an advantage by making the most a challenge by an opposition player.

Some Liverpool fans have previously jumped on incidents where the likes of Kane or Alli seemed to engage in similar antics. So some Spurs fans on social media didn’t miss the opportunity to note how the same fans were now silent despite Salah being a repeat offender on this count.

Check out how Spurs fans reacted to the incident below:

  1. a “leg up” for Klopp as he works to develop the Liverpool diving capacity. Salah seems to have closed in on the “football’s greatest diver” title previously held by Suarez; and perhaps more importantly, hyas thus far managed to gleam an extra 6-9 points due to his unchallenged simulation. A sad factor of the game but clearly a skill that Salah has been working to develop.
